Back to School Night

Happy Fall!

Reminder: Next Thursday is Back to School Night at 6:30 P.M. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and showcasing our new classroom! Parents will meet in Room 21 where I provide information about classroom expectations, routines, curriculum, extensions, and report card changes.

If you are unable to attend, Back to School packets will be sent home with your child.

Headphones

Happy Friday!

I can't believe we are already through our first week of school!

Next week will begin using our Chromebooks during Reading and Math. We will be reading/listening to stories on Raz Kids and practicing our math skills and concepts on Dreambox. Additionally, the students may be asked to watch videos, search the web, and/or complete assignments during Science and Social Studies. In order to allow more private viewing of videos, such as Brain Pop on our Chromebooks, we are asking that each child bring in a pair of headphones or ear buds that they can keep here in school. Please put the headphones in a small plastic bag with your child's name on them. 

If you cannot get headphones, please contact me.

Remind 101

This year I would like to invite all parents/guardians to join Remind 101 for my 2017-2018 class. Remind is a text message based notification system that will help you stay updated with what is going on in our classroom.  I will share important school and class reminders with you that can easily be sent directly to your phone!

If you wish to join our Remind class, please follow the invitation instructions below. A set of directions has also go home with the students. If you need any help, please let me know!

Welcome to our class blog! 

Here is where I will share all of our fun learning experiences from Room 21. 

As a class, we will be accomplishing many great things this year so be prepared for lots of learning, new adventures, and loads of fun!
